After the arrival of our LED dance floor, we took steps to ensure that maintaining and tracking each individual tile would be as efficient as possible. To achieve this, we invested in an X-Tool F1 Laser Engraver, which allowed us to engrave a unique ID number and QR code on over 240 LED tiles. This system has proven invaluable, making it easy to identify and track each tile, especially when it comes to maintenance or replacement. With every tile now clearly marked, managing the dance floor has become a far smoother process.
At the same time, we also received our Unity Elite 5 Pro lasers, which were an exciting addition to our kit. While the engraver worked away on etching the tiles, we took the opportunity to set up and test the new Unity lasers, seeing what they were capable of when paired with Pangolin’s laser show control software “BEYOND.”
