Dome Fest West asked to have their 2024 Holiday Party at the studio that currently holds Dancy, and subsequently the event expanded to include the LA chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH, Alternity, 3opolis, and Loud Movies. It was quite an eclectic event with so many overlapping communities in one room for the night – we did a demo between sets from DJ Celeste and Brianna Amore, with lights and lasers by Chris and Jeff, and VJ visuals from Michael Strauss. Torkom and Michael from Alternity also did a sound bath/dome show on top of all the other activities throughout the night. It was a high-flying circus of immersive entertainment that brought a diverse group together to celebrate the end of 2024 and to spread hope and joy for 2025 and beyond.
There will be more events in the coming year that involve DFW and SIGGRAPH, we may be a part of some of them and will post here about any that we will be participating in, so please sign up for the newsletter to get notified when those are announced.
